Process Improvement & Development Engineer

Job Specifics

  • Modifying and re-engineering the organisation`s existing key work processes
  • Developing new business processes to support the company's transformation agenda
  • Based in a team which is responsible for providing a robust and responsive product creation and delivery (PCDS) network for the development of all programmes
  • Leading and managing process improvements in the PCDS framework
  • Particularly within a cross-functional, end-to-end environment
  • Faciliating and supporting process improvement undertaken by other functions and departments within the organisiation
  • Providing direction, coordination and support to business process owners/process improvement teams in development and implementation of business process improvements
  • Assessing & analysing the capability and baseline performance of business processes
  • Utilising data analysis skills (qualitative and quantitative) to identify process flwas and improvement opportunities in product development processes
  • Working with multiple stakeholders to deliver process improvement
  • Identifying risk and deviations through process assurance ensuring set up of preventative and corrective measures

The ideal Candidate

  • Degree-level qualified - preferable
  • Professional experience of greater than 3 years
  • Highly collaborative with excellent networking, communication and consultation skills
  • Ability to respond with urgency and quality of execution within a fast-paced organisation
  • Strong knowledge and experience in business process improvement, process modelling and re-engineering methods and tools
  • Project management methodology experience and skills
  • Ability to analyse complex data and process the information for senior management consumption
  • Ability to diagnose, and execute practical solutions in complex cross- functional process environments
  • Experience leading others in process reviews, business analysis, and/or special projects that include defining business requirements and developing strategies to improve work flow
  • Knowledge of automotive sector and new product introduction domain
  • Competence in MS Project & Visio and P6
  • Intermediate competence in Excel (VBA toolset)
  • Competent in usage of process modelling tools & methodologies
  • Innovative & energetic presentation style¬†
