Project Management Analyst - Automotive

Job Specifics

As Project Management Analyst you will support managing the product development team through the development process, ensuring that the requirements for the project gateways are delivered on time and within given quality requirements.

  • Act as a central point of communication for the program team
  • Lead the team through program gateways and events on time
  • Issue deliverables to project team, manage deliverables status and lead team to deliver gateway requirements and to achieve required deadlines in R&DSupport functional and cross functional team meetings
  • Analyse and manage program delivery requirements, key work streams and critical path processes
  • Facilitate development of and timely completion of resolution plans by cross functional teams
  • Guide team through product development processes and lead any process issue resolution
  • Implement lessons learned and best practice methods and processes to improve efficiency
  • Co-ordinate and manage preparation of program status and metrics to support team reviews and management reviews
  • Analyse program risks and opportunities and communicate appropriately to management
  • Enable and encourage management to make an informed decision by providing appropriate documentation
  • Develop & maintain Vehicle Program Plan
  • Continually champion the customer's viewpoint to deliver a quality product

The ideal Candidate

  • University degree in Engineering, Project Management or equivalent
  • Project Management experience gained in the automotive industry in R&D is essential
  • Project Management qualification, e.g. Prince2 or PMP
  • Understanding of engineering processes within automotive product development
  • Strong organisational, time management and prioritising skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects along with analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, team-oriented approach and leadership ability
  • Proficiency in MS Office, esp. Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent English language skills
